The Annual Fund supports everyone and everything we do, especially our faculty.
Teachers are at the heart of a quality St. Gregory education. We incur significant financial obligations in order to recruit and retain the best teachers, to maintain small and supportive classrooms, and to provide a broad and deep program of athletics, arts, science and technology. Tuition at St. Gregory only covers about 83% of the costs of educating our students each year. Together tuition and gifts to the Annual Fund provide the resources to fund teachers’ salaries, professional development, classroom needs, technology improvements, and project-based learning.
Your unrestricted gift to the Annual Fund provides support for the extraordinary programs and learning environment you value most about a St. Gregory education:
- Class sizes that average 16 students
- Strong relationships between students and teachers
- Honoring and encouraging student curiosity by providing tools and skills for students to problem-solve and think critically
- Offering a rich and rigorous blend of innovative and traditional learning opportunities
- 75 minute class periods to allow students time to discuss, apply, engage, and collaborate
- Full-time college counseling
- 1:1 laptop programs
- Competitive athletics and high-quality fine arts

Like most other National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), tax-deductible gifts, which average $900 per family nationwide, allow St. Gregory to balance our budget, fund the current year, and perpetuate excellence into the future. St. Gregory is stronger, too, when we have a unified community of current and past families, alumni, grandparents, trustees, and friends working together to protect and preserve our excellence.
