St. Gregory School is excited to announce that we are launching a new scholarship program through the Arizona Independent Schools Scholarship Foundation (AISSF). With initial support from the Providence Service Corporation to the AISSF, scholarships will be provided to qualifying students, in all grades, of high academic achievement who display potential and strong personal character.
This scholarship program is sharply defined by the state of Arizona’s corporate tax donation policy and the following income requirements must be met (a copy of your 2009 tax return will be needed to verify income upon enrollment):
In addition, all students applying for the scholarships must currently be at a public or charter school.
St. Gregory is looking for students of high academic achievement and those who display leadership potential and strong personal character. An admissions test for this scholarship program will be given at 8:30am on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in the St. Gregory dining hall. RSVP for the test is available here. If you have already applied and fall under these scholarship parameters, please contact the Admission Office and we will include your child(ren) in this pool of award applicants.
Once the scholarships are approved by AISSF, they will be 100% funded and will follow the student all the years they attend St. Gregory as long as the family meets the income requirements. In addition, stipends may be available to offset the expenses of books, supplies, etc. If a family’s financial situation should change, the student may still receive funds but the amount will be determined through the school’s standard financial aid process.
