As the Middle School Division Head, it is my privilege to have you visit our school. The middle school consists of grades six, seven and eight. We offer an exciting and unique program at St. Gregory that values and challenges our students to pursue excellence in character, scholarship and leadership. There are four major components to the program: academics, arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Our academic program challenges students to become significantly more knowledgeable, skillful, organized and articulate. Our arts program helps students develop their aesthetic |

awareness, creativity, and self-expression. Our athletic program helps students make healthy choices, develop skills, and increase fitness through physical education, health and interscholastic sports. Our extracurricular activities provide opportunities for students to discover a talent, develop a passion, serve their community, and have fun at St. Gregory. Opportunities for leadership abound at the middle school. Students develop their leadership skills through group projects, presentations, problem solving, sports, clubs, activities, and speaking up in class and during morning meetings. There are also ample opportunities for social events, dances and parties. Friendships are very important at this age, so we try to facilitate good and meaningful relationships among our students. St. Gregory is a community defined by common goals and personal caring. It is a wonderful place for middle school students. Jane Pryne, Ed.D.
